Lavender essential oil is one of the most popular essential oils, boasting excellent therapeutic qualities combined with a very pleasant aroma. It's one of the most versatile and useful oils to have at home, as it can be used to treat a wide variety of conditions and has countless applications.

It is calming and relaxing, combating stress, relieving tension, depression, panic, hysteria, and general nervous exhaustion, and is effective in combating headaches, migraines, and insomnia.

While its antiseptic properties help with colds, flu, and other cold-related illnesses, it's excellent for problems like bronchitis, asthma, colds, laryngitis, halitosis, throat infections, and whooping cough, and helps the digestive system cope with cramps, nausea, vomiting, and flatulence.

For women (it's useful for controlling PMS by relieving its symptoms, and during menopause it helps control emotions), it has a regenerative effect on the skin, preventing scars and helping to balance the skin. It's also used to clean wounds and treat burns.

Characteristic: Lavender oil has a fresh and mild aroma, is clear in color and watery in viscosity.

Contraindications: Although lavender oil is considered one of the safest essential oils, its use should be discontinued if any allergic reactions occur. For safety reasons, its use is not recommended during pregnancy.

Discover Aromatherapy:

Aromatherapy is a branch of herbal medicine that aims to promote healing, well-being, and improve quality of life through sensory stimulation through aromas, usually extracted from plants and essential oils. Aromatherapy can be applied through massage, bath water, inhalation, or infusion. Aromas treat not only the physical but also the psychological side of each individual.

Inhalation: using essential oils in a diffuser or humidifier, the oil is vaporized and inhaled through the nose or mouth (aromatherapy).

Topical: Pure essential oils are diluted in water or other oils and applied to the skin. There are also cosmetics with natural oils.

How to use:

Just a few drops of essential oil are enough to achieve excellent results. We can use a few drops in the water of an oil diffuser or water fountain, for a massage or bath, or through steam inhalation. Or even a single drop of oil on a tissue and sniff it several times a day.

All pathways lead to our brain, which immediately distributes a feeling of well-being throughout the body and, in some cases, stimuli that combat pain.

Diffuser or Water Fountain: Add 4 to 6 drops of oil to the water, turn on the device

Massage: add 6 drops to 30 ml of base oil and apply gently to the area to be treated;

Immersion bath: mix 6 drops of essential oil into the bath water for children and 12 for adults;

In a compress: add 4 drops of essential oil to a bowl of hot or cold water, wet the compress, remove the excess and apply directly to the area to be treated;

Steam inhalation: Add 3 to 5 drops of oil to boiling water in a bowl, place your head over the bowl, and cover with a towel. Hold this position for 5 to 10 minutes.
